Flagship Product: Iza-bren (BL-B01D1)

World’s First Approved Bispecific ADC

Izalontamab brengitecan (iza-bren; BL-B01D1) is the centerpiece of Biokin’s transformation.

The molecule is a first-in-class EGFR × HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate. It combines dual targeting of EGFR and HER3 with delivery of a proprietary topoisomerase-I inhibitor payload.

First Approval — Nasopharyngeal Cancer

The newest result came on August 25, 2026.

At a prespecified interim analysis of BL-B01D1-306, an independent Data Monitoring Committee concluded that iza-bren met the primary endpoint of progression-free survival in patients with unresectable locally advanced, recurrent or metastatic HR-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer who had failed at least one prior chemotherapy regimen. This represented the fifth Phase III trial for iza-bren to meet its primary endpoint and further strengthened the evidence that the molecule may have activity across multiple epithelial tumors.


Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

The Phase III PANKU-Breast02 / BL-B01D1-307 study is another particularly important component of the program.

At the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting, Biokin/SystImmune and Bristol Myers Squibb reported statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in both PFS and OS for iza-bren in heavily pretreated, unresectable locally advanced or metastatic TNBC.
